Introducing the VSL Climate Score Kit
VSL is making its Climate Score tool freely available to the entire construction industry. Designed to compare the carbon impact of steel strands worldwide, this open-source kit empowers customers, specifiers, and suppliers to make transparent, informed choices – and drive collective progress toward a low-carbon standard.
The Climate Score kit includes:
- Usage guidelines and explanations on how the Climate Score works
- A series of Climate Score visuals from A to F, with a dedicated information box to indicate the emission factors of the strands:
- The standard format includes captions highlighting the levers for reducing the carbon footprint in the steel strand manufacturing process,
- The simplified format contains no captions.
