A1 Highway widening

The enlargement of highway A1 from 2×2 to 2×3 lanes implied the overlapping of the centre span, by
moving back the piles of 4,4m. VSL created a system of post-tensioned beams to transfer the load to the new piles and used the VeRSO technology, a computer controlled lifting system, to execute the operation with high precision.
