VSL carried out the lifting of the cable net roof of the Athletics Stadium Budapest to be delivered for the 2023 IAAF World Athletics Championships. VSL assisted on the engineering of the net roof structure’s erection method and assembled and installed the heavy lifting system including 85 tonnes of temporary strand cables to raise the permanent roof structure. VSL mobilised 192 jacks of various sizes to lift the cable net roof in two major lifting operations.
