BAI CHAY CABLE-STAYED BRIDGE

VSL supplied and commissioned four sets of form travellers and designed the formwork and support system for the pier table in the construction of a 903m long, 25.3m-wide cable-stayed bridge that connects the towns of Bai Chay and Hon Gai in Ha Long City. The form travellers were designed and fabricated in just seven months and were used for the casting of in-situ segments, an operation that helped the contractor achieve a nine-day cycle for the casting of the deck. VSL also provided technical assistance and supervision during the construction.
