BRIDGE OVER THE LAUSANNE TO BERNE RAILWAY

VSL supplied and installed 30 ground anchors to stabilise both abutments of a bridge carrying a highway over the railway between Lausanne and Berne. 15 ground anchors were placed in each abutment to transmit the forces from the structure into the ground in which they were anchored. The anchors were reinforced with VSL threadbars, which had been pre-injected prior to transportation to the site.
