BRIDGE SERVING HAGNECK HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT

VSL carried out repair works of the Weir Bridge, a pedestrian bridge that had suffered damage during the construction of a new hydroelectric power station in Hagneck. The post-tensioning cables in the bridge’s superstructure had been damaged and so VSL installed nine Carbostress® prestressed plates to return the bridge to full capacity.
