C7 GIANG VO BUILDING

VSL designed and built 12,102m² of post-tensioned slabs, and supplied and installed 63.4t of strands for C7 Giang Vo, a 19-storey high tower block located in the Ba Dinh district in Hanoi, as part of the city’s plan replace old and dangerous buildings. All used S5-4 tendons were pre-fabricated in VSL’s workshop before being transferred to site for installation. VSL achieved installation sequence cycles of just 10 days per floor, a rhythm that reduced the overall construction duration and enabled early stripping of the slab formwork.
