VSL carried out the ‘big lift’ works together with the pinning of the new cable-net roof structure for Valencia’s existing soccer stadium in an operation that involved very precise coordination and monitoring. The membrane erection operations were carried out simultaneously with the controlled de-propping of the roof’s steel compression ring. The new roof structure will enable the stadium to meet the new architectural requirements for hosting UEFA soccer matches.
