The largest tunnel boring machine used in Singapore’s Deep Sewer projects was lowered into a vertical shaft of 45m depth. VSL Heavy Lifting was awarded with a contract to supply, design and install a lowering and placement gantry system for the tunnel boring machine, weighing 420 tonnes.
