DK8 BYPASS

As part of Poland’s 100 Bypasses Construction Programme, the DK8 Sztabin bypass includes a 670 m bridge built to divert traffic from urban areas. Drawing on experience from the S6 Koszalin project, VSL Poland optimised the launching method by using a single set of equipment, pulling the first segments directly from the precast yard with stressing jacks and strands. VSL also delivered launching operations, bearings, and post-tensioning works.
