VSL supplied and installed approximately 300,000 m2 of post-tensioned floor area for Dubai Mall, the world’s second largest mall by total land area (1,000,000 m2), using 1,500t of VSL strands. VSL achieved installation rates of more than 200 T of strand per month and completed the work in just seven months, two months earlier than what would be required to install the same quantity of strands for a typical 30-storey Dubai building using standard post-tensioned slabs.
