HARD-FUSSACH RHINE BRIDGE

VSL detailed, supplied and managed the installation of the stay-cable system, including saddles in the steel towers, for a new extradosed bridge over the River Rhine in Austria, between Hard and Fussach. This was the first time VSL installed stay-cables and saddles into steel towers, as saddles are generally used in concrete towers. It was also the second time VSL supplied and installed its fire protection system along the entire free length of the stay-cables.
