Icon 56 Tower

The Icon 56 Tower is in a central location in Ho Chi Minh City. The owner, Novaland, noticed VSL’s expertise in post-tensioning, and therefore awarded them the contract. The project was particularly significant for VSL Vietnam as it demonstrates the advantages of a post-tensioned slab solution for residential buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. VSL was appointed as the specialist contractor for the supply, design and installation of post-tensioning works for 25 floor slabs in the tower complex. VSL used the VSLAB, a new standard anchorage for bonding slabs together. The use of the VSLAB system is the most cost-effective design in terms of weight and cost, and therefore minimised the total cost of the project.
