IMPROVING ACCESS TO BLUEWATERS ISLAND

VSL performed post-tensioning works for 25m-wide multispan bridges for a 1.4km long superstructure as part of a project to upgrade the infrastructure around Dubai Marina and developing Bluewaters Island, and provide direct access from the mainland’s Sheikh Zayed Road to the island. VSL used using 1,700t of strands for the task and was also in charge of preparing shop drawings and extension calculations, as well as stressing.
