INEOS ETHANE TANK

VSL performed post-tensioning works for one of Europe’s largest ethane storage tanks in a petrochemical complex 40km west of Edinburgh. The tank has a 60,000m³ capacity, a 56m diameter and a 36m height. The shell was built using a slipform formwork system and using vertical and horizontal post-tensioning tendons.
