KANGAROO VALLEY PIPELINE

As part of a maintenance framework project to prolong the serviceable life of a major water pipeline in Kangaroo Valley, New South Wales, VSL replaced 190 bearings at 47 support locations along the pipeline’s 2.5-kilometre-length. VSL’s main value-add was to propose an innovative, non-invasive, and efficient design for temporary works based on a temporary jacking frame, using hydraulic jacks to elevate the pipeline for the removal and replacement of bearings.
