The Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Line 1 (KV MRT 1) is a major infrastructure in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. VSL was involved in six packages for the construction of the elevated section. VSL performed the deck construction and post-tensioning of standard spans, using eight launching gantries and built special spans with the precast balanced-cantilever method. VSL also supplied four pairs of form travellers for the construction of the cast-in-place balanced-cantilever bridge superstructure, to¬gether with all the concrete, reinforcement and post-tensioning required.
