VSL provided specialist engineering services and supplied the post-tensioning and stay-cable systems for a new passenger terminal at Kuwait International Airport. The project is the largest LEED Gold-certified building in the world and presented a new challenge for VSL, which for the first time employed technology that is traditionally used on segmental bridges to construct an airport terminal.
