Liez Reservoir Dam stabilisation

VSL used the construction of a VSoL® earth wall in order to stabilise the Liez Dam in Eastern France. In observing the 30m-high and 450m long dam, studies carried out by VSL demonstrated the necessity of improvements to the external, internal and overall stability of the dam. With the challenge of the highway at the base of the dam (meaning that there was no room to add traditional embankment for stability), VSL used a VSoL® to reinforce the embankment.
