MAHANAKHON TOWER

VSL designed, supplied and installed the post-tensioning system to strengthen the King Power Mahanakhon, formerly known as MahaNakhon Tower, a landmark skyscraper in Bangkok and Thailand’s second highest building with a 314m height. VSL used 326t of strands to support the cantilevered slabs that are used in 30% of the tower, notably in its pixelated sections, which consist of glass ‘skyboxes’ that give the apartments unobstructed views over the city.
