VSL carried out the post-tensioning works for three viaducts and built six VSoL® retained earth walls for the Marão Highway, one of the most important links in northern Portugal, crossing the Marão Mountain through the largest road tunnel in the Iberian Peninsula. VSL used segmental precast concrete construction for the viaducts and more than 430t of post-tensioning, including type GC anchorages.
