The Keller-VSL Joint Venture (KVJV) was contracted to construct a cut-andcover structure. This involved building a diaphragm wall and barettes from 20 metres to 45 metres deep, including excavation, the placement and splicing of prefabricated steel cages, and the casting of concrete.
