VSL Portugal played a significant role in building two bridges and a viaduct in the Mombasa Port area of Kenya, a vital gateway to East Africa. Upon completion, these were the longest bridges in the region. The proactive role played by VSL teams in proposing and implementing alternative construction methods, coupled with their active involvement in enhancing productivity, were central to the successful realisation of this complex infrastructure project and cut nearly two months from the construction programme, while still maintaining high-quality standards.
