NISSIBI EUPHRATES BRIDGE

VSL provided and installed the post-tensioning and stay cable systems for the 610 m long Nissibi Euphrates Bridge, one of Turkey’s longest cable-stayed bridges in the South East Anatolia region. VSL installed 80 VSL SSI 2000e stay cables for a total of 580t of stay cable strands with the longest stay measuring 200m. VSL also designed, supplied and installed 36 viscous hydraulic dampers to suppress any vibrations in the stay cables.
