Petronas Twin Towers

1994-1995

The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia, have become an international design icon and were the world’s tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004. The towers feature a double-decker skybridge connecting the two buildings at the 41st and 42nd floors.
VSL brought value to the project especially with its alternative lifting scheme for the skybridge, which saved the project considerable time by freeing up critical crane operations for the main tower construction.
