Chosen as a specialist partner by Daewoo-TPL JV, VSL India made a significant contribution to the construction of the Mumbai Trans Harbor Link (MTHL), India’s longest sea bridge which was inaugurated in 2024. VSL India designed and supplied three launching gantries, and 17 casting cells, to erect a 7.8-kilometre-long precast segmental viaduct, including post-tensioning. Notably, VSL successfully carried out the relocation of two launching gantries in challenging marine conditions, a key engineering task for project completion, saving four months on the project programme.
