Tendean-Ciledug Elevated Road

To help ease severe congestion on Jakarta’s road network, the local administration launched the Tendean-Ciledug Elevated Road project (Transjakarta Bus Lane Corridor XIII). VSL has worked on four packages forming part of the scheme, including Trunojoyo and Kostrad, which involved respectively the construction of 1,200 and 1,140m of viaduct over heavy-trafficked areas. VSL built both the structures by launching gantry but used two different methods – balanced cantilever and span-by-span – to suit the specific needs of each location.
