Monostrand System EPD

Monostrand System 🍃

In July 2025, VSL International published the Global Warming Potential (GWP) data for its monostrand system, following a comprehensive assessment of manufacturing processes and material sourcing.

For the S6-1 anchorage, the EPD revealed a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 2.37 kg CO₂e/kg leading to 2.34 kg CO₂ to 2.78 kg CO₂ per anchorage depending on the arrangement.

For the associated PT-Plus® 22, the GWP was calculated at 2.60 kgCO2e/kg, meaning 0.24 kg CO₂ per meter.

Below are the results for each anchorage arrangement and for one meter of associated duct for bonded system.
