D35 Opatovice - Casy – Ostrov

The D35 highway forms a strategic link for inter-regional as well as international connectivity of the Czech Republic. As part of the highway’s extension – which will add 27 km to the 230 km-long axis – VSL was awarded a contract to supply the posttensioning systems for 15 new bridges on this extension. Prior to the installation works, VSL carried out a grouting trial to validate the quality of the grouting, which is key for the durability of the tendons and hence, the structure itself.
