D6 Krupá Highway Bridge

As part of the D6 motorway linking Prague to Germany’s western border, the new Krupa highway bridge was key to improving regional traffic. The 830-metre-long concrete structures were built in situ and required extensive post-tensioning. VSL’s expertise guaranteed the structural integrity and long-term durability of the twin bridges. Despite tight deadlines, each of the 23 spans was successfully completed within just two weeks as required by the programme.
