LEONIE-MOSER BRIDGE

The 400 m-long Leonie-Moser Bridge (Querung Grüze) crosses the Winterthur-Grüze rail yard, carrying buses, cyclists, and pedestrians. VSL Switzerland delivered the post-tensioning works using PL3-rated, electrically isolated tendons to maximise durability and enable long-term monitoring. The project pioneered a BIM-to-Field workflow, with reinforcement and tendon layouts extracted directly from the 3D model, improving site accuracy, coordination, and traceability under strict railway constraints.
