VSL’s involvement in the Nguyen Hoang Arch Bridge in Hue City began at the architectural design competition stage, where the arch bridge proposal was awarded first prize. VSL then provided technical support for the hanger system design, followed by the supply and installation of the cables on site. Hangers were prefabricated to optimise installation, and final tuning was carried out using four 30-tonne jacks. The project marks Vietnam’s first arch bridge application of VSL’s SSI 2000e single-strand system, improving efficiency and long-term maintainability.
