RED SEA MARINE LIFE INSTITUTE – MARINA VILLAGE

Inspired by coral formations, the Red Sea Marine Life Institute features a complex steel-and-GRC structure spanning four towers. VSL delivered the heavy lifting strategy, installing 36 prefabricated canopy pods assembled at ground level before erection. The final 54 × 50 m canopy, weighing 1,100 tonnes, was lifted to 8 m. VSL contributed from tender through design, proposing an alternative to conventional crane-based methods.
