VSL designed, supplied and built the prestressing systems to strengthen three precast post-tensioned concrete tanks at two sewage treatment plants in Avonmouth and Shaftesbury, in Southwest England. This is the first time Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) was used for this application in the UK.
