400M LAND TO SEA HDD CONDUIT FOR OPTIC FIBRE CABLE

Superloop Hong Kong Ltd an Australian telecommunications provider, was the first to see the potential to link Tseung Kwan O to Chai Wan by subsea fibre optic cable. Intrafor was contracted to install a 400m conduit by HDD method below the seawall and construct a beach manhole. This was Intrafor’s first successful collaboration between a telecommunications provider and their consulting engineer to provide an HDD conduit for fibre optic cable landings.
