575M LAND TO SEA HDD CONDUIT FOR OPTIC FIBRE CABLE

Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited (HKBN) employed Intrafor to construct the TKO Connect Cable System, a high-speed submarine fibre optic cable connecting key data centres. A 575m land to sea HDD pipe was installed without disturbing a 30m deep seawall and offshore corals. With early contractor engagement, Intrafor worked closely with HKBN’s engineering consultant to find a suitable alignment in an already congested seabed.
