As part of the construction of Chennai Metro Phase 2, Line 3, VSL India was awarded a contract by Tata Projects to build diaphragm walls for two underground stations as well as a shaft to allow the tunnel boring machine to be retrieved from below ground. VSL’s remit included the provision of specialist equipment, supervision and manpower to carry out the works.
