Intrafor delivered an optimised diaphragm wall solution for the Kwun Tong Promenade stormwater storage scheme, designed to reduce flood risk in one of Hong Kong’s dense urban districts. By replacing deep piles with a diaphragm wall cofferdam, the team reduced material use, improved watertightness and overcame severe site constraints, including low headroom beneath an existing flyover and buried seawall obstructions.
