MARINE GROUND INVESTIGATION: CPT, VIBROCORING, DRILLING

The Hong Kong Government Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) awarded Intrafor a comprehensive land & marine ground investigation contract for a planned tunnel and bridge at Tseung Kwan O. The marine investigation included seabed cone penetration tests, vibrocoring, rotary drillholes and environmental holes. The works were carried out from a jack up platform that was suitable to operate in waters up to 10m deep.
