RACH MIEU BRIDGE
2007 – 2008
VSL supplied and installed the VSL SSI 2000 stay cable system for 374t of stay cables for the Rach Mieu Bridge, a 2,868m long cable-stayed bridge crossing the River Mekong and connecting the provinces of Tien Giang and Ben Tre. VSL provided technical assistance for the cable-stayed bridge construction, and supplied and installed the expansion joints for the main bridge and the bearings for the approach bridges. VSL also provided the structural health monitoring system.
