For this project, VSL was responsible for the strand jacking operations required for the offshore installation of the self-elevating barge. The VSL heavy lifting team installed the lifting equipment onto the platform in March 2012 at the deep-water port of Limbe. The modular composition and easy handling of the VSL strand jacking equipment allowed the lifting hacks to be installed inside the hull, which provided numerous benefits.
