THREE 175M LAND TO LAND HDD CONDUITS FOR POWER CABLE

Hongkong Electric Company were expanding the capacity of their power grid network to Middle Island, the home of two yacht clubs. Intrafor was subcontracted to provide 3no., 175m long HDD installed pipes to carry the 22kV cables. The land to land HDD pipes were drilled at shallow depth below a marine channel using pilot hole & reaming methods to intercept the narrow cable pit at 5m depth.
